Our Founder

Clareissa Benton is the Founder and Managing Principal of Chasing Billions Management Accounting & Tax Services, bringing over 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, auditing and financial operations across multiple industries, including oil and gas.

Throughout her career, Clareissa has held senior-level roles such as Revenue & Royalty Manager, Senior Accountant, Tax Accountant, Joint Venture Audit Accountant, and Cash Management & Personal Finance Manager. She has worked with both publicly traded and private companies, developing a deep expertise in revenue recognition, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and tax strategy.

In 2017, Clareissa founded Chasing Billions Management with a mission to help small and midsize businesses build strong financial systems, maintain compliance, and make informed decisions backed by accurate financial data. Her firm provides outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services designed to support sustainable growth and long-term financial success.

Clareissa studied Accounting and Finance at Texas Southern University and the University of Houston. She is known for her hands-on approach, attention to detail, and commitment to empowering clients through financial clarity and disciplined financial management.
